Converting denary numbers to binary

Make sure your GCSE Computer Science students can convert denary numbers to binary with this free safe-cracking activity, perfect for a whole class lesson warm-up, or to assign to students who need a bit of extra conversion practice.

To open the safe, students must convert the denary numbers on the yellow squares, enter their equivalents in binary and press “C” to check if the code has been entered correctly.
