Doddle is seeking a new Account Manager to work in our office off the Cowley Road in Oxford.

What is Doddle?

Doddle is an online teaching and learning platform used by over 1,000 secondary schools in the UK. It’s a fantastic resource which contains teaching material, revision activities, and quizzes and tests that mark themselves! All this great stuff is available for 18 different subjects right across the curriculum. Schools subscribe to the resources for one or three years and so we need top-class Account Managers to help the teachers get the most from their investment and ensure they continue using.

What would I be doing day to day?

As soon as a customer decides to purchase Doddle you’ll begin supporting them, getting them logged in, setting up their student accounts, and training teachers over the phone and supporting them by email. Once they've got started with Doddle it’s your role to keep them up to date with content developments and share with them new ways to use Doddle to support their teaching and learning. You’ll be providing excellent, knowledgeable service and always have your sales hat on to resolve queries and increase engagement.

There will be a focus on building relationships with key contacts and heads of department to increase engagement and secure renewals. You will be aiming to expand their use of the platform by keeping them up to date with all the latest functionality and developments. You’ll also be looking for opportunities to increase their usage within the school and explore potential for use in other departments.

You’d be working in the sales and account management team in our Oxford office which means there is always someone on hand to help with any tricky questions and to share good ideas.

What are the hours?

The role can be full-time, part-time or term-time only (meaning you wouldn’t be working the holiday weeks of Oxfordshire state schools).

Who are you looking for?

The ideal candidate has a sales or account management background; has great communication skills, both written and verbal, and can build rapport quickly; is well-organised; and has an interest in secondary education.

Rachel – Doddle Account Manager – manages schools who have bought Doddle for their departments; cross-selling expert; milk / no sugar

Nic – Doddle Account Manager – manages schools who have bought Doddle for their departments; Email prioritisation Guru; milk / no sugar

Hilary – Doddle Account Manager – manages schools who have bought Doddle across the whole school; Skype maestro; milk / no sugar

Marvin – Senior Account Manager – looks after new sales enquiries; conducts online demos and is a closing machine; strong coffee first thing and then H2O only

Emily - Doddle Account Manager – manages schools who have bought Doddle across the whole school; good at retaining information; no hot drinks

Gemma – Senior Education Adviser – manages team of Account Managers and Education Advisers; former teacher; 2 coffees a day
